The Horn Diluphos System™ (HDS®) is a revolutionary equipment for stored product fumigations in closed spaces, silos, warehouses, ship holds, cold storage chambers, adapted reefers containers, among others.

Phosphine, a well-known insecticide
Phosphine (PH3) is an ideal fumigant for the protection of stored products.
used today in most countries of the world, providing an environmentally friendly pest control alternative to traditional tools.
Once released into the environment after the exposure period, phosphine is rapidly converted to phosphates by action of sunlight. These phosphates do not produce environmental or ecological effects.
METHOD
The HDS® is an automated system, which allows the dilution of pure phosphine directly with air below the lower flammability limit (LFL), allowing the injection of a mixture of air and phosphine into the fumigation facility without risk of ignition at a maximum concentration of 10.000 ppm.
The HDS® relies on several safety mechanisms, which have been proven safe through extensive testing and almost two decades of commercial experience in several countries.
To operate the HDS® you only need to connect the equipment to a power supply, one nitrogen cylinder and one or more phosphine cylinders. Then, through its LCD touch screen, the HDS® will guide the operator through the steps to follow in a simple manner.
IoT-ready and remote assittance
The new generation of HDS® units include a built in industrial grade internet modem (3G/4G; Wifi; Ethernet) registering operational parameters on real time on a web platform in order to ensure a safe and continuous operation, allowing at the same time the early detection of problems in the system.
The modem also allows our technicians to connect to the HDS® when required by the customers to assist and diagnose problems, upgrade software or testing the HDS functionality.
The HDS® also includes a reporting system, sending process and system reports via e-mail to both Horn Technologies and the customer after injection processes or when problems arise.
