HIGH CONCENTRATION PHOSPHINE MONITOR

Monitoring phosphine concentration is a must these days in order to ensure fumigation efficacy and also prevent insect resistance development.

Discrete measurements as those performed using detector tubes or electronic handheld devices just provide a partial view or a “picture” of what is happening during the fumigation time.

Continuous monitoring of phosphine concentration becomes an important tool to better understand gas concentration dynamics, evaluate strategies for continuous improvement and also provides traceability to the fumigation process.

FUMITRACE DESCRIPTION

The FumiTrace is a high-range phosphine monitor that provides real-time phosphine concentration measurements from the inside of the fumigated facility in up to four zones, which are displayed on its simple and intuitive 4” touchscreen HMI. Recorded data is accessible on screen for in-situ review.

The powerful built-in sampling pump can draw samples up to 100 meters length via 6 mm outside diameter sampling lines. Every sampling line is equipped with an independent particle filter to protect the internal valves and components from dust or other foreign material minimizing downtime.

The measurements are stored un a USB memory drive connected on the monitor in spreadsheet format for further analysis. The FumiTrace also comes equipped with Wi-Fi, 3G/4G connectivity for transmitting the generated data to a web based IoT hub from where the data can be accessed on real time, establish e-mail notifications based on phosphine concentration levels, get process reports, among others.

The remote connectivity also enables remote assistance for troubleshooting, configuration or software upgrades by Horn Tech support staff.
